Lenovo has an ill reputation of not updating its devices. Just for that reason. don't buy anything that costs more than 199.99 .... just saying....
I bought Moto 5G Ace recently for 199.. and that's my limit for Lenovo phone and tablets..
I do like this tablet... BUT here are some of my concerns.
1. Updates... I have had a Lenovo tablet in the past and I did like the CLEAN OS (I like it much more then Samsung) but will Lenovo give us updates to the newer OS? And why is it coming in Android 10 when Android 11 has been around for so long?
2. Even though I prefer a clean OS, I would rather get a Samsung S7 and they have been on sale for close to this price in the past.
3. The Tablet I am considering is the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 which is suppose to come out in a few months... it will have MUCH MUCH higher specs and should be at this price point BUT WITH NO Widevine L1 support (this Lenovo does have this). And will surely be Android 11 and expect to get updates.
4. Android 11 has a picture in picture mode where you can change the size of the picture in picture, I love this feature. Android 10 does not have this.
In the end... if you do purchase this tablet... I am sure you will enjoy it. Unfortunately it is not for me.
And while more RAM is always better... 4GB is FINE.
It was back in early March or so... Crazy discount at Samsung.com with an EPP, student or military discount on top of that. Then with a trade in of an older tablet, I got the Tab S7+ 512gb with few Galaxy Buds Live for $254 delivered. Traded an older Tab S4.
There was a link that was posted with the discount attached... Search for it. It was a huge deal. Lots of posts...
Could probably still get a good deal with trade and the discounts... Good luck.

I'm in the market for a new tablet after learning my Samsung A7 won't let me load apps onto the SD card to save space, which I'm currently running out of. Was considering this one (would even opt for the 6GB ram version), but considering the S6, or S7. Don't think I can buck up to the S7+ haha. Opinions of where I should go?

Looks like they physically copied what the Galaxy Tab S7 looks like. What I noticed in comparison to my Galaxy Tab S7:
The Lenovo has a nice 350-nit OLED screen (Samsung uses a super premium LCD panel - blacks are super inky-black, and colors are super rich.....even more-so than my Apple iPad Pro).
I initially wanted the older Galaxy Tab S6 (uses OLED) because it's 1mm thinner than the S7....and therefore noticeably lighter. The Lenovo is actually is 5mm thinner than the Galaxy Tab S7.
Even the accessories you can get for the Lenovo are a clone of Samsung (e.g. the back-piece stand).
My Galaxy Tab S7 has 6GB RAM, but even with e-Trade and WeBull running, it maxes out at 3.9GB-Usage. I have my Stock charts set to "Live Data" - where it's always fetching live data from the stock market. WeBull is a pretty data intensive App - I use its Dashboard to be able view the entire health of the US' Stock market, drill-down by Sector (e.g. Tech-stocks), dig into any stock (e.g. financial statement, all trades going in/out, etc) and there isn't the slightest hint of sluggishness. So I don't think you should be concerned about the 4GB RAM in the Lenovo.
