You have to have the item you want to keep be in store pickup or shipped to home. The other items to be cancelled must be shipped to your home. Then cancel within 5 mins and keep the discounted price on the item you wanted to keep and money never leaves your account on the cancelled items.

Only items shipped to your home can be cancelled immediately.

No, you aren't. OP is mistaken. You can't partially cancel multiples of the same item. You also can't separate multiples of one item into store vs home. If you buy 8 fans you're going to have to physically return 7 to keep one. Better grab a cart in the parking lot. You could try calling customer service and hope you get lucky. Or.... you can use other non-fan items to order and cancel instead.

I tried it both ways and it didn't give me the option to cancel the 7 fans I didn't want either way. I could only cancel the whole order

Does the order have to be processed already to cancel or do you cancel during the "being processed" status. I only get the option to cancel the entire order during the "being processed" stage no matter how I design the order as store pick up or home delivery.
