it's more or less the same specs, is the Hp or MSI a better value?

1660ti blows the 1650 out of the water, for starters.

The 1650 is just not fast enough to play games properly while the 1660 Ti is.
Any laptop with a 1660 Ti, RTX2060 or 5600m is good enough to play todays games with little to no lag (settings may have to be placed on low).
There is a Dell deal right now with a 5600m and a Ryzen 5 4600h. Both of the laptops are known to run a hot. So, if you purchase this laptop or the Dell I recommend getting a cooling pad and use it when you play games.

No company can be trusted... but OK, so MSI price gauged customers and charged double MSR (like most of the retail industry) for their newest GPUs. Yes... there is a CHIP SHORTAGE and not enough stock. But lets talk about this deal... which to me looks decent even though I would probably get the Dell G5... if I needed a laptop today. But you need to do your own research.
I'm still waiting to see someone objectively say why this configuration is a bad deal. No hate; I'm just honestly curious if there is a better deal out there that I'm not knowledgeable about, or do people hate rebates that much
