SanDisk 1TB Extreme Portable External SSD $60 at Walmart In-Store, YMMV

The SanDisk Extreme Esternal SSD's are around $60 for the 1TB versions and $40 for the 500GB versions. I think these are the first gen versions.

Not every store has them at that price; three stores in my area had them for $60 while the rest had them at around $110-150. I found them at that price on Monday while looking in the electronics section for a TV. They are usually located next to the Hard Drives.

it depends on the store, some have them out sitting on a shelf in one of those plastic cases and others have them locked away.

$44 in Burbank (6+ available)

one of my coworkers is there now so I'll have him confirm if he can find any.

edit: coworker says the location "doesn't have any"... kinda surprised brickseek is wrong...

I was just looking for these in my local store tonight. 500 GB showed limited stock at $25 but I couldn't find any. They had a couple 1TB but they were only marked down to $119.

Burbank has poor inventory record keeping. Has happened to me before, several times. They show stock of something they haven't had for a long time

Brickseek shows 6+ quantity at a local Walmart at $67.26 each.
When I went, there was only one still marked at $177 but rang up at $67.26.

Thanks!

6+ showing near me. I swore I'd never go back after the fiasco (long lines, no stock) last time, but may try tonight. Good luck everyone!

edit: went by tonight and found them. they had 1TB for $56 and 500GB for 30ish, picked up the 1TB. brickseek stock was correct. They weren't with the other hard drives but locked with some clearance items in electronics.

Looks like a good deal. Sadly due to a lockdown for us I can't get to Walmart. Too bad I can't find it at that price to ship!
