In for one. If you have BOA cards, there's 5% cashback deal and some CB sites have 4% on dell website.
So price = 1070.16 + (1176*state tax)

Does this not have 2 hard drive slots?
It doesn't have any hard drive slots. Two M.2 slots for M.2 SSD

The problem is the 3060 pretty much runs at 90 watts. I don't know if this has to do with dynamic boost or thermals but this is why I mentioned that, despite the dislikes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jaloTlgCguI the saddest part is it has no mux switch at all, so this is quite a bad buy, unless you need a laptop this instant.
Not having MUX switch doesn't make it a very bad deal. With a rtx 3060, you'll lose hardly 5% less frames. And how many 3000 series laptops you've seen at this price range, coming with MUX switch? Would love to see some examples.

I asked Dell, they told me the 3060 is the 115w version. If you still have doubts I suggest you ask Dell yourself and get a transcript of your conversation so you're all covered.
100% 10870H is 80w version. Only AMD version is 115w version. A lot of review in China now.

Until I actually see someone else reviewing actually shipping laptops or it is officially documented on Dell's website someplace....I will defer to the video link above as at least one POSSIBLE SKU for the G15, even if others may exist.

Hence, I would want verification on the SKU I was getting had the specs I wanted if they were different from the reviewed model. (Note: The reviewed model has the upgraded Display vs this one.)
The Youtube link has real machine stress test, 3060 max power is 90w. It's 80w revision plus 10w dynamic boost. You can unlock to 115w by unlocking bios which you may lose your warranty. If you wanna 115W, go Ryzen version.

Where is the info and guide where you can unlock the bios?

If you can wait a little this is definitely a pass. The omen with ryzen 5000 is a better buy for a similar price, and Legion 5 is way ahead which is out of stock unfortunately.

Legion comes with mux, so does Omen. But if you're playing cpu bound games the difference is massive. Even some AAA games lose close to 10% like assasins creed titles it's not ideal at all. On top of wattage and design it's a skimped laptop

Omen AMD does not come with MUX switch. Please check the information before posting. Bob Of All Treads just posted the review and he has confirmed the same. Check that out.

And Legion 5 Pro has not been even launched yet in USA. So, how do you know what's the price going to be for a similarly configured version?

Legion 5 pro is also the most anticipated laptop this year. It will be in huge demand at launch and leaked MSRP is pretty high as well. Its hard to get a deal on lsst year's Legion 5, this year will be harder.

Omen INTEL has Mux switch, and USB C charging over this. L5 pro 3060 has released for a crazy 1349$ but it's OOS. L5 non pro did too it's just on a shitty, not worth buying from site. But yeah that's why I didn't say pro version as it's the non pro that mostly competes with this laptop and is 100% the same price.
