Good to know. I am a Liberty customer with their 1GB plan, and wish to point out that any unused data does not roll over to the next month.

I recently switched from the T-Mobile Connect 2.5gb plan to the US Mobile 5gb data plan. US Mobile is $3 more a month but you get double the data and unlimited calls/texts and it uses the same TMobile towers.

Tello plan gives you slow data after 1gb as others pointed out. At this price range, you can also get Unreal mobile 2gb plan on T-Mobile towers

TMobile mvno services and priorities are utter crap, hence the low prices.

I have T-Mobile, via Sprint. My sprint service was poor for signal where I am but I'm hoping the t mobile merger will improve that.

Just a reminder that Liberty Wireless has what I believe is the lowest price for unlimited calls and texts (and NO data) on the T-Mobile network -- just $5 a month via a $60 year-long card at eBay:

This type of account would be perfect for a grandparent, for example, who wants cell service, but does not use data.

Thanks, Edgar! If it weren't for the need to send MMS pics to my mom I'd get this for her. She doesn't have internet access where she lives so phone is the only option. 🤷🏻 ♀️

If data is all you need (aka Google Voice), you may want to look into the FP prepaid $40 plan [bestbuy.com] = 1 year, 1GB per month, no contract, no CC

How is this better then Mint? Seems like their $15/mo plan is a ton better for $5 more

Isn't that how it's supposed to be?
Most MVNOs just drop the speed to 2G after that limit.

Also take a look at US Mobile. They have more data at the same price point as Mint, and they do NOT require bulk-buy: you can go month-to-month. They have verizon and tmobile looks like.

I just switched one of my lines from Mint to US Mobile. It has only been a couple of days, but so far so good.

A deal that requires using an active number from a different carrier, rather than a brand new one

Hello Mobile is a better deal, because it's also a T-Mobile MVNO, and also offers unlimited talk and text for $5 but you don't have to pay for a year upfront AND includes unlimited data with 500MBs of high speed.
