I'm right handed and there's no game console or pc for that matter that I've controlled movement with the right hand. Movement has always been controlled with the left hand. Maybe I'm going crazy. 🤡

Same here. I've been playing arcade games for over 40 years and the only games I (also right-handed) can ever remember controlling with my right hand are the Pac-Man games.

I've been interested in one of these for awhile, but not for a cabinet, just to put on a table and play with. Now that it's a pretty good price and I'm doing research, I can't seem to find much current stuff about it. Has anyone here purchased one in the last year or two? They're social media and YouTube presence is almost non-existent and most reviews and stuff are from several years ago. I'm just trying to figure out if it has a USB cable in the back or what cause videos show like a plethora of cords coming from it.

This paired with a rasp pi using retropie would be a good setup right?

looks like USB to me "mac/pc support included"
https://shop.xgaming.com/pages/x-...pc-or-mac/

the mess of wires looks like the interface/kit to hook it up to a console (not included), on that page there's a picture of it being hooked to a PS2 using that.

I got that recent $99 deal for the all-in-one Legends system which appears similar, but that also included its own system/streaming box where this is purely a controller. I must say tho the workmanship on this looks really nice

I have the solo version of this stick w/ a pi4 and it works pretty good, there was some tinkering that needed to be done to have retropie recognize the controller but once it's done you're good to go.

I had the same concerns when I bought one last year. This does have a USB. I have mine plugged into a raspberry pi and it's awesome.

We set it on the bar top or table to use it like you're talking about and it works great. It's big enough that the kids aren't shoulder to shoulder like they are on an arcade 1up cabinet.

The discussions about this all seem to dunk on the quality of the parts and moddability. If you're going for quality, seems like a decent PS4/XB1 stick plus a Brook converter or fighting PCB for your platform of choice is a better path (albeit more expensive than $130 if you want two good sticks).

Usually comes w USB for PC connections. To reprogram program some of buttons for games u need an old school non-usb keyboard. The adapter for ps4, ps3 are expensive too
