A lot of people are upset about having 24-inch studs and this being a 16-inch mount, but you can usually resolve this (and improve the positioning of the TV) by mounting a 1 x 8 board across 2 or 3 studs (whatever the width of your TV can hide) with 3-inch lag bolts and then attaching the mount to the 1 x 8 board. This will let you use any size mounts with any size of stud spacing and also allow you perfectly center the TV for your setup.
I bought this similar model for my 65" TV last year, but not sure how it differs. I have been pretty happy with the quality, mounting process, and swivel. Otherwise, we don't move the TV much and it's still up there so...
PERLESMITH TV Wall Mount Bracket Full Motion Dual Articulating Arm for Most 37-70 Inch LED, LCD, OLED, Flat Curved TVs up to 132lbs VESA 600×400 with Tilt, Swivel and Rotation - PSLFK1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
The description on the Amazon page says this but I will echo it. Make sure to find your studs before ordering it. My house has studs that 16 inch and 24 inch apart.

Absolutely. Personally, I think this step should be done even if the studs are spaced perfectly. It'll allow 3 screws on a 1x8 into each stud rather than the usual 2 using the mount only. It'll also allow more screws to be used all along the mount into the 1x8 for a more solid mount.
