I have had decent success with Walmart Brickseek deals in the past if there were 2-3 available. Now, it seems that Walmart is changing its reporting system (as mentioned on Brickseek website as well). I was at my local Walmart last night and they had 3 Netgear CM500 modems on display for $45 each. This morning, the price dropped down to $13.5, still showing 2-3 available. I went there in evening, very sure I will be able to get 1. Not only were they not present, their price display sign had also been removed. Chatted with 2 different employees and was told that they got sent back to Walmart this morning as they are changing how they deal with clearance items.

Decent deals. I have an R6250 (the non-modem version of the C6250) and in real world tests, it outperforms an Archer C7.

One of the stores near me shows $10 for the NETGEAR AX1800 / RAX20-100NAS

I wouldn't expect to find it even if it didn't say "Limited Stock", so I'm not wasting my time looking for. Still, others might have the same markdown to $10, and with better luck.

Store was showing availability on Brickseek. Prices on tag for AC1200 were still showing full price at $99, but I had them pull it out of the case and ring it up: $24.95. Sold!

Brickseek has been pretty good with Wal-Mart clearance stuff. Sometimes qtys change quickly and the store is out, most times I find what I'm looking for at the slickdeals price. Nowadays, you have fools buying all stock at once to sell on EBay and Mercari.

All you can do is just keep seeking. These are just what they are...super deals. Unfortunately, we all don't get them. CM500 is a pretty good one. I got mine from Wal-Mart 4yrs ago for $25 deal brand new..non refurb. $13.5 is a really good deal!!

DOCSIS 3.0 means you will not be able to get cable internet speeds faster than 400-600 Mbps. Gigablast, or whatever else your cable Internet provided is offering as their top speeds will not give you the speeds you are paying for with any of these clearance cable modems.

Any such deal with Walmart is a waste of time. I was sent back 3 times. Spoke to their customer service online and over emails for over a week. Don't fall for any of these deals by bricksleek
