I have had decent success with Walmart Brickseek deals in the past if there were 2-3 available. Now, it seems that Walmart is changing its reporting system (as mentioned on Brickseek website as well). I was at my local Walmart last night and they had 3 Netgear CM500 modems on display for $45 each. This morning, the price dropped down to $13.5, still showing 2-3 available. I went there in evening, very sure I will be able to get 1. Not only were they not present, their price display sign had also been removed. Chatted with 2 different employees and was told that they got sent back to Walmart this morning as they are changing how they deal with clearance items.
Just use "SKU Finder" right above the SKU field. You need to enter the full model number (e.g. CM500-100NAS) and then copy the populated SKU into the SKU field.
So many new to brickseek...The price IS right for that specific store, price on the product might be wrong, whatever the price on brickseek says is the price the product will ring up for at the store. Now the quantity can be wrong or out dated or if they say 3, they could be in the rafters somewhere. But if it says "limited" it means less than 2 (in my experience) and they both could be display models because that is counted in their inventory count. But don't call, don't write, just drive to store grab product and go to register and go home, walk the dog and play with your new toy

Yes they return clearance items now instead of "losing" money. When I worked there I had to clearance an item to 1cent and they would not let me buy or sell it.

MAY is Walmart electronics biggest clearance month.
Lots of local store clearance specials too.
Saw a 65" TV for $360. I bought 2 Panasonic telemarketer block machines $17 each
Kinda slim pickens this year because of what occurred in the past year
What bad chip? I'm getting 500mbps on 400mbps plan.
Google Pumageddon. Huge latency spikes and terrible performance. Even on the newest XB7-A's they will get you 1400mbps, but also lag spikes from 10ms-600ms and back again 10 times a minute.
If you do online gaming you will notice it if you have a bad puma chip.
On the other hand the XB7-T modems are amazing. Wifi6,2.5gb port and no latency issues. I generally stay around 11ms and 1430mbps with my gigabit plan.
Also keep in mind that Docsis 3.0 modems dont do well on gigabit plans with xfinity. You want a 3.1 to get full gig+ speeds. Ymmv but this is usually the case.

Does this mean the end of these brickseek/B&M/YMMV type deals? It's been a good run for the past couple of years....but I guess all good things come to an end?

I think so unless you get very lucky or live in a small town. I haven't seen any good brickseek deals in years though

Oh man that's sad.
Although when I went to my local Walmart stores doing some deal hunting, I rummaged through those big cardboard boxes in the electronic section with random items looking for deals LOL I think I wasn't supposed to do that but I don't think the employees cares. I guess those cardboard boxes with random items are supposed to be returned to corporate.
