Be careful with these, I've bought like $400 in the past and most of them tend to lose value and say invalid if you don't use them within a couple months
Exactly summarizes why 50% off is not really a good deal for most people unless you want one of the specialty pizzas that come with like 5-7 toppings without any customization for $10.19.

Otherwise, most people are better off just getting the standard $7.99 3-topping large pizza, which is my goto since it is a good value deal that's available anytime.
Are you specifically referring to Domino's Gift Cards issued by CardCO CXXV, Inc?
The PayPal webpage specifically says, "No expiration date and no service fees."

I'm talking about Domino's gift cards from PayPal generally, and from personal experience. I know they're not supposed to expire, but when you haven't touched $200 in gift cards in 3 months and they all say invalid and both PayPal and Domino's say they can't do anything about it, that doesn't really mean much.

...something like that.
I think I heard or saw a commercial recently about "50% off menu prices" (which are usually VERY high prices) if you choose car side delivery.

Example... I usually order a medium, pan, two-topping pizza. Those are usually special priced at $8.99 ALL THE TIME with their online ordering system.

During this 50% menu deal, the normal medium, pan, two-topping pizza at "menu price" is $16-17....So, 50% off comes out to about $8.50 or so.... It's not really that much of a savings IMO...at least with the pizzas I usually get from there.

They (Domino' or the Gift Card issuer) have to have some sort of proof as to where the gift card was used and when. Paypal is just the seller...so I could see them bowing out of any responsibility. You should take it up with the card issuer and see where you can go with them....or reach out to Domino's corporate.

I buy Domino's gift cards whenever they're on sale (like this @ 15% off) or I need to top off Kroger purchases for fuel points at the end of the month...and I've never had a problem with any Domino's gift card (virtual or physical).

If I was you...I'd also file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

I just saw on my PayPal receipt where it said, "Issues with this transaction?
You have 180 days from the date of the transaction to open a dispute in the Resolution Center
."

...and that did not work for you either???

We usually go for the following deal, which AFAIK is always available:

Quote :
Choose any 2 or more; Medium 2-Topping Pizza, Bread Twists, Salad, Marbled Cookie Brownie, Specialty Chicken, Oven Baked Sandwich, Stuffed Cheesy Bread, 8-Piece Boneless Chicken, or Pasta in a Dish for $5.99 each.
The problem we've had is redeeming gift cards if they're not actual, hold in your hand gift cards, though it's *probably* more a problem with our local Dominos. Last time we tried to use an emailed gift card it took 4 or 5 tries [separate trips] before they got it to work.

Agree with Jon. I have bought a lot of the Domino's gift cards from Newegg and still have the correct balances 6-12+ months later.

How long ago was this? I know PayPal had a really dumb issue in the past where gift cards had 0 authentication and the cards were available to anyone who searched. I mean literally if you went on Google and put in the PayPal gift card site as the only url to return results for and included a * (wildcard) at the end it would give you results showing what the gift card was for, amount, card number, and pin. At first PayPal responded like you said. The corporation had little to know idea what the problem was, just their cards sold from Paypal had high fraud reports. Eventually PayPal figured the issue out and was publicly embarrassed by it. Naturally they wanted to restore faith in their system and sweep this under the rug (being a tech internet based payment processor), and started refunding anyone who contacted them during the 'breach'. Probably no one called people denied claims early on back, I wonder if you might be one of them.

I heard about all that on a slick deals PSA post for my gift card alert. Sure as heck I checked the Best but PayPal gift cards I was hording over time for a computer purchase and they were all 0'ed out. I contacted PayPal and they refunded everything asap without argument because it was widely known at that point, at least on their end.

I've never had an issue with Dominos GCs from PP. If you had that issue, I'd flag it on your credit card and that should do the trick and get your money credited for buying something/service you didn't receive.
