The Amazon listing states “black PVC backing” in one of the pictures/diagrams so I’d go with yes

Not sure why you wouldn't publish this most important spec. It's 100" diagonal. It's 16:9 and can be wall mounted.

And while the appearance is similar to the screen that your dad used to pull out to show the family slides or 8mm movies, it is well-reviews.

ETA: in addition to the coupon mentioned in the OP, there is a second promotion that gets you a carrying bag and some ropes and ground nails (spikes?) for outdoor use. Read the product page; it's one click for both promotions. Simply using the code above will only get you the discount, not the extras.

This looks like a great deal but I am looking for a 150" 16:9 manual pull-down and not having much luck. I ordered one from Amazon and it arrived smashed up.

I'd prefer 150 myself, but the options don't look great

I think the problem is the size. A 150" screen is over 11ft long and that's bigger than standard carriers (FedEx/UPS/USPS) will handle. Assuming you can find a carrier, the Elite Screens one that I ordered was cheaply made and cheaply packaged so couldn't take any punishment on the road. The only other option is to try to pick up one used locally, but everyone is in the same boat so they are rare.

I looked here to check the size, but already have a 100" screen. If it was bigger, it might work. Looking to paint a wall for outside nighttime summer viewing.

Any suggestions on an inexpensive (common) paint to use? The dedicated screen paints are priced very high, nearly $200 a pail.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't projector screen "gain" (1.1, 1.2, etc) work by focusing the light more directly backward, at the expense of brightness at greater viewing angles? So while any screen may technically have a 180° viewing angle, higher gain would mean dimmer viewing at an angle (and brighter at center). I suppose a reflective surface can't possibly reflect more light than it receives, so a gain in one direction would require an equal loss in another

I applied both and it's $72 with tax and shipping for the extras. Nice deal
