First time posting a deal. I've been keeping my eye on the newer Logitech racing wheel and pedals (G923), and they are usually $399.99, but are currently being sold by Amazon for $349.99.

Link below is for PS4/PS5 + PC:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFB7...GR95D078YQ

Link below is for XBox One + PC:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PGGD...X1EC?psc=1

CCC says that it's lowest price was $330 in early April, but I missed that sale.

Best Buy also has the same price for both PS and XBox:

Is there anywhere to audition something like this?

I have an old PS3 one called Logitech GT force feedback or something along those lines and it feels nothing like a real steering wheel. I couldn't control the car in forza Horizon 4 on PC at all.

Is this $100 better than the G920 version (XBOX)?

Any thoughts on this vs. the Thrustmaster T500RS? I've heard the force feedback on the T500 is much stronger and more realistic... but the force feedback on the Logitech pedals and shifter (from the bit I've read) has piqued my interest.

Just my opinion go Thrustmaster t300/TX(Xbox). I had both and still own my thrustmaster TX with TLCM pedals. The Logitech will be cheaper in the long run. I chose the Thrustmaster TX Servo Base, TLCM pedals, and the Ferrari Evo Steering Wheel combination. It was more expensive but I got exactly what I wanted as far as Steering Wheel style, pedal type, and enough force feedback. Worst case scenario order this and return it if you do not like it.

I've never played Forza, however, any arcade style racing game I've played with that or my other logitechs, they have at least felt similar to an actual wheel. Maybe the game, maybe the settings needed to be tweaked.

Could also be another thing. I advise anyone and everyone that sim races to figure out a way to ditch the toy size steering wheel on these things and mount a real car steering wheel on it. My first good wheel was the old logitech blue force feedback that I zip-tied a car steering wheel to. Two wheels later I still mount a real one. My latest, a g29, required an adaptive mount.

I have been faithful to logitech as they have been extremely reliable to me. I have never had the pleasure of trying a thrustmaster. My next wheel, will likely be a Fanatec.

Everyone I know that used both logitech and thrustmaster state they liked the thrustmaster better. They've also had a few minor issues with their thrustmasters but claim that it would not prevent them buying another in the future.

Just bought it last week, and it feels exactly what you would expect a plastic gear drive unit to feel like. I'm not saying it's bad, just not as smooth as others. The new direct drive units will be the future.

Most racing games need some wheel setup to get to be drivable. That said, I've never been able to get Forza to work well on any wheel, including the Xbox branded 360 wheel back in the day. I've used this wheel on other games and it's been fine. It's not Fanatec or anything, but not much is on the affordable scale of racing.

I've read somewhere horizon 4 is a pain to play with this GT steering wheel. I have it and I do feel the same. Tried all the settings, nothing seems to work

Returned it within 3 days of last deal. Horrendous drivers by Logitech which have an outdated interface compared to their other keyboards and mice for PC. Support is slow at best and email only that I can find. Stunning given it's a 300-500 item. Struggle to get it working properly with VR.
