Just be warned Sirius goes extra heavy with the spam calls and junk mail.
I still receive calls once in a while about a Chevy I sold a year ago.

With their constant solicitation calls, emails, letters, and ads in my vehicle for a very poor quality radio service, I'll pass, even when free.

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.

Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)

The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

VIN not eligible stating, "Your trial recently ended. Your radio is not eligible for another trial." However, I haven't had a trial on this vehicle in 6+ years and haven't had any service at all in 2021.

This guy gets it, the audio is horrible.

If you know your radio id# you can just put in fake info and get it that way, I've had free Sirius in my work car for almost 3 years now lol. A whole bunch of whole foods stores are getting spam mail from Sirius because of me.

This,,.agree 100% I was a very long XM sub before they merged..Then little by little they started to remove my favorite channels or merge them. I cut the cord and just use my iPhone in BlueTooth mode and listen to DI.FM in 320k MP3..Sounds so much better and I can now listen to my favorite music again (they removed 'Electric Area' and 'Backspin') to name a few.

You won't get good data service everywhere when you drive out of town.

Count on them to charge an inflated rate once the trial is over. I know it says otherwise, but it's Sirius.

Strongly recommend using a one-time card number.
