Just as. FYI. If you do activate radio service, you also get free streaming as well for your phone etc. Also if you have a google nest music device or a Alexa product, you can also stream on that once you connect your Sirius account to it. For example… you can say. "Hey google play Sirius XM channel (say the number or the station name)' and it will play it. It's super good .

The bitrate is about 64 kbps for music and 32 kbps for talk on Sirius.
The bitrate on Spotify HIFI/Tidal Masters is 320 kbps CD quality for lossless audio.
Use an app, connect a cable, and ditch the garbage audio of Sirius. (FM radio is 96 kbps)
The bitrate is probably somewhere between 24–48 kbps depending if the AAC variant is based on v1 or v2 of the HE codec. The sample rate of the played back audio is likely 32 kHz or 44.1 kHz which will yield 16–22 kHz of audio bandwidth.

Do I need to nuy a receiver? Or does my car need to have sirious installed? We have an older car (2016 jeep)
I know it can be used on computer right? So a receiver might be all I need?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Instead google nfcu siriusxm and use their link to sign up. Use vin, random name and random address. Another 3 months free.

So true, after the promo is over, trying to cancel with them is like dealing with the cable companies. They try keeping you as a customer by offering you lower priced packages. If you can't cancel online without having to talk to a CS Rep, nevermind then. No one wants to be harassed when trying to leave a service.

I was a customer for 15 years in both cars and finally got tired of their game. Canceled and no matter how many times I said "I don't want any offers, just cancel" it still took forever. They thought they'd confuse me and even offered worse offers than their prior ones in the mix on a net basis!
The cc is really to bill you full price when the trial is up
