They are great, and i have had no issues.
I really like the more industrial models like what we ended up with. Stainless tub top load washer and a 7cu ft dryer. Front loaders are only used in laundromats because they're stackable... otherwise, they wouldn't be a thing. They're only big now because of water consumption, but I don't want HE....I want clean clothes. 😀
I've had my LG washer for about 10 years and have had the musty odor once. And that was because I got lazy and neglected to clean it.
