It has an app where it notifies you when the load is running or finish.

Also, you can remote start the washer or dryer. Good if you are on electric TOU rate plans

Great deal. This washer was #1 recommended by Consumer Reports last I checked.

Gas model dryer on sale as well, $100 more than electric.

Your laundry area will dictate which type of dryer you should use. If you have a gas hook-up, go with that. Electric needs 220V. Running either a new 220V or a gas line is expensive so go with whichever is in place.

Yep, they offer a longer warranty on appliances as well and it stacks with the extended warranty you can purchase. When I bought my washer/dryer a few years back at Costco I ended up with a 7 year warranty for like $150.

I wonder if these things have improved since my LG titan. I have to leave the landry detergent drawer opened and the door opened or else water for whatever reason doesn't drain properly. I've already had to take out a few pieces and clean the mold off.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in a place with 2 households but one area for the laundry and are sharing machines. I'd like to make everything separated and have our own set, so if we get a gas one, we'd need to cut out another hole that flows the air to the outside I'm guessing?

Edit: I got the same washer and dryer from lowes on a YMMV Deal at I think $300 total. Plus the Pedestals was another $260 I think. Since I had HD price match Menards on the white set. Then I had my Dad spray them steel black to match the rest Big Grin

The white set of LG shows up at promo price in your "save for later" section of cart. I purchased and requested a price adjustment via online with that information. If they won't honor, I'll cancel.

Also, fwiw, the white set + pedestals is only $50 more than without, with the current 1949 price. To me it seems like that factors in the sale price.

Best Buy and Home Depot just went live with the newer 4000 series deals, $1500 for white, $1600 for black. Granted BB charges for installation and removal, but good deal if you DIY.

You should get solar. You're break even point would be FAST. The more expensive your elec bill, the faster it takes to break even on the solar investment. Homes that have solar are worth more too.
