I had my washer and dryer delivered/installed today. They hauled away the old ones.
Thanks to this thread I had purchased:I also purchasedI bought all these items in person at Home Depot. The website tells you exactly what Aisle they are in.
The installers also had extra parts in case they were needed. The installers that were sent, in my case, did installs for both Costco and Sears. They said the orders from Sears require payment for the parts. And they weren't sure about Costco (weird but I didn't question more since I didn't need).

Anyways, hope this helps!
I got the email from Costco Logistics for delivery tomorrow . But it is saying only Dryer (1 item) although i order the set washer and dryer . ? did the confirmation email you received has both product listed for delivery ?

Thanks.

i got my washer/dryer installed by costco. They did not connect the dryer to the waterline and also the rigid duct used for dryer is taking up too much space behind dryer and the dryer is butting out.
Anyone tried anything different to save some space behind the dryer?

Probably a good thing that they didn't connect the dryer to the waterline.

Never heard of a steam dryer like this.... do you mean steam washer (I have one of those)?

Ahhh... I see the dryer advertised with a steam feature.... interesting.... I wonder if it needs a hook-up or you just add water to in a reservoir? Personally I want as few devices as possible hooked up to water.... less risk of a water disaster.

I'm in CA and they hooked up the gas dryer despite the Costco website saying otherwise.
Did they provide a new gas line as well or re-use your existing one?

I had mine installed yesterday . Installation is horrible . They reused my exiting dryer duct claiming they ran out of it . Also they didn't know the dryer had water inlet for Steam function. I pointed out and then they did that . Washer and dryer is not leveled and they did not do the test run. I called Costco after the fact . They said will send another team to install properly with new dryer duct I. One week .

Steeling myself for the horrendous installers they're going to send, but I also see it as an incentive to learn how to install these yourself. I just changed out my dryer vent hose and supply lines. It's really super easy as long as you have a decent sized wrench and can pray to the plumbing gods that the previous installer didn't over-tighten the supply lines.

Look for a "periscope" dryer vent. It might work for your application. Otherwise, the only option is the very flexible vent like this one [homedepot.com], but in a lot of places this isn't allowed since it's a higher fire risk as lint builds up in the ridges over the years.

Probably OOS. From what I have been reading appliances are hard to get these days amongst many other things due to COVID.

Are they going to use rigid vent or flexible ? Is the duct work free or do you have to pay extra for it ?
