Yes, a little bit. Think BBQ. It's not super sweet though. Definitely more salt than sugar IMO. Best use I have found for it is dark meat chicken. I'm sure it would go well with pork too. Usually I do sous-vide meat or something pretty involved when I cook but I use this seasoning in one of my easy go-tos when I'm not trying to impress anybody.

Just pre-heat oven to 400, pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel, drizzle some olive oil, coat in this seasoning or any other premade or home-made seasoning, and throw in oven for 35-40 minutes. I've even forgotten the olive oil before and it's turned out fine. Serve with some rice and veggies.
This stuff is amazing. Use it on grilled pork chops, takes them to another level.

Oddly enough I find it to be a bit too sweet. But then again I don't like sweet bbq so much, so there's that. I prefer it for use on bigger cuts of meat, while using a smoker or smoke tube for additional flavor. Still happy with it for the coin though. Cheers.

Good deal, but one of their worst seasonings. It's not too salty, not too sweet, not too bourbon-y...just a very weird flavor.

Bought some last year and it never gets used.

This stuff is good. I use it as a dry rub on ribs.
