I have the Air, the Aeropex, and the Opencomm (for work). I really like these headphones. They have good-enough sound quality but offer tons of benefits: can still hear clearly around you, light and comfortable, good battery life, easy pairing, and good overall experience.

The Airs are great, but the Aeropex is an upgrade in every way: sound quality, comfort, mic quality. The drawback is that it has a proprietary charger instead of microUSB on the Air, and they are more expensive. I want to stress that without using them side by side, you'd never notice that the Air wasn't a great headset.

The Opencomms are awesome for work calls, which i'm on all day basically. The battery will last a full day, sound is great, and the boom mic is as good as the gold-standard Voyager 5200 in my opinion.

All 3 pairs have been super durable and held up to my sweaty running regimen. I'm glad to answer any questions.

Half the price of the newer Aeropex which have better waterproofing, less sound leakage, larger better, and are lighter and smaller.

I bought a 2nd pair of these at an rei yard sale recently. If you buy these and they sound broken, hold both volume buttons down at the same time for about 2 seconds. I don't know why they would have an eq setting for "blown and tinny" but the do.

That's the titanium model that's been discontinued.

I remember hearing these don't work well with glasses, is that the case?

I love being able to wear ear protection doing yard work while listening to podcasts. I just bought these three weeks ago at Sam's. They have also made my runs so much more enjoyable because I get no breathing feedback in my canals.

I really want the aeropex because...I want to wear them in the shower.

Signed: podcast addict.

I have tried the Air, Aeropex, and Opencomm also. Opencomm didn't meet my needs, mostly because I rarely need the boom mic function, and it gets a bit in the way the rest of the time.

Aeropex are much better than the Air in many ways, as mentioned by others (sound, waterproofing, battery life, etc), but have a few downsides. First is the magnetic proprietary charger, as mentioned above by CLBrian68. The Aeropex multi-function button is also lower profile than on the Air, but when I hold down the button on the Air to activate a voice assistant, there's a beep given as it activates. The Aeropex doesn't give that indication, so I often miss the window of active listening when trying to use that.

Ultimately, for me, I think I'm taking back the Aeropex and going to get an Air to keep. Good enough for me, and a good savings to boot. Not saying the Aeropex are bad, just not a good enough upgrade for my needs and lifestyle.

I also wear these all the time with sunglasses and have no issues. I've got a large head, and they don't pinch/squeeze, and have enough room for the glasses to slide under them.

That's because Amazon pays people for their receipts... So they can tweak prices.
