This is 1700W. Emerald air fryer is same price but 1800W.
Does anyone have recommendation on which one might be better?

I just don't understand the closed basket concept with air fryers. Having a toaster oven style air fryer with a lot more visibility and room makes so much better sense.

Got this in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. It has seem many uses and holds up great. Love it.

Closed basket air fryers are more efficient.

What I don't understand is the insistence of the manufacturers on using non-stick coating for baskets. It chips and peels easily leaking into food. It renders the product marketed as a healthy alternative to frying dangerous and useless.

I would not use one even if it were free.

Hi. does anyone know if this has the California Prop 65 warning ? I don't see it in the product page but when I checked out I thought I saw something that says Prop 65. Thanks .

Same here, non-digital version. Haven't had any issues. Saw a recommendation at the time as far as basket cleaning to not clean a hot basket. Also I don't use anything harsh to clean it, mostly water and I brush it with my hand when I do. No scrubbing pads or anything like that.

Cooks almost anything. You can fit a Tostinos pizza in it but I prefer oven cooked for those. Beats firing up an oven for 1 or 2 size servings.

This is the first appliance my wife wanted that I was reluctant to buy, but I happened to be wrong about it.

They usually put the prop 65 warnings on everything. Probably one of the most dumbest things ever.

We use this daily and prefer it over the microwave whenever possible.

We had a smaller air fryer before and just an FYI that this one has a noticeable, not necessarily overbearing, level of fan noise when operating

I cook mostly chicken breasts. I noticed there is a certain amount of heat splatter that occurs with anything I put in it. This style is so much easier to clean than an open glass face air fryer. I can pour in a little dish detergent and hot water swash it around. Use a paper towel or sponge to clean out in seconds. I have a different brand and I think it's an 8 qt with a larger cooking area. Didn't realize how handy that extra space was. Quick to cook anything I need on the go. I would not use any other design for myself.
