The only reason we keep Netflix going is my 85 year old mother in law. We may watch something on it 2-3 times a month. Paramount+ is a nogo as they really blew it with their Star Trek properties. Those shows were awful.

If I cancel it now will the service stop or will I have access to the content until the free 1-month ends?

Worked for my existing account without an active subscription.

Definitely recommend using virtual credit cards for this. I've noticed they've tried to charge me even during these free month trials. Simple solution.
Forgive my ignorance, what's a "virtual credit card?"

A credit card number you can set a specified dollar amount and possibly expiration date. My Citi card offers this service. It helps for services that"forgot" you cancelled and try to charge the next month and it doesn't go through if it's above the amount or that number expired. There are a variety of places that can help you get a number.

Be careful when signing up for Paramount+ "FREE" trial.
Even though it's supposed to be CBS All Access' successor. The site still has bugs & glitches that need to be worked out.

I was not able to cancel my free trial until a day after it ended by then my CC had been charged for an additional month. It took numerous days to get in touch with customer service (The website form did not work) and when I finally got a response. They informed me that I was SOL.
I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get a refund.
My, how convenient for them.

So how do you cancel the trial, is it via customer service or is it a cancel button in the app or website?

Watch your billing information closers, these guys are scam artists. Bait and switch on the regular on their previous handle "CBS All Access". They're remove your promo, move your first billing date, all kinds of good stuff.

Dang it.....Seal Team is moving to this next season too
WHAT?!?! Just read that Evil is moving over too. Wonder if these will be an episode every week or just all at once. Or I guess just wait till summer 2022, get this for a month and binge everything.

Free month of Paramount + with coupon code SPRING. 5/29
I cancelled back in February right before the changeover to Paramount+ (had subscribed in Dec to watch The Stand) - just renewed and SPRING gave me a free month. Will catch a few other shows and likely cancel again - there is some good content but not enough to justify $10 a month (I'm not interested in "limited ads" streaming options).

Thanks

Why is free trials even a deal???? Why post this??
That's about the only streaming I'll sign up for. I won't steal it but I don't want to pay either.

I signed up in February to check out 'The Stand'. I didn't find anything worth watching but at least I found that out for free.

Wish these guys had some 4K content. That would make it a bit worth it as there's nothing I really want to see in their current library. From what I've read they still charge people for these free trials, so I'm a bit wary of that. Maybe when they put a new Paramount movie that's in theaters, I might give it a shot..

FYI Paramount + will have A Quiet Place 2 45 days after theatrical release. Good if we can time it for that

Last time I did the trial, the service is just garbage. On my 1gb att fiber, the steaming pauses almost every 1 minute. I ended up canceling the trial in 3 days
