Be careful when signing up for Paramount+ "FREE" trial.
Even though it's supposed to be CBS All Access' successor. The site still has bugs & glitches that need to be worked out.

I was not able to cancel my free trial until a day after it ended by then my CC had been charged for an additional month. It took numerous days to get in touch with customer service (The website form did not work) and when I finally got a response. They informed me that I was SOL.
I had to file a complaint with the BBB to get a refund.

I recall having an awful experience with CBS All Access a few years ago and it seems like their customer unfriendliness has now carried over to Paramount +. Thanks for the heads up. I will pass on the "free" trial.

I sign up for the free month, set a google reminder to cancel 10 days before the end of the trial, then cancel the service unless another extension freebie code comes up, which it occasionally has. This is my 8th time doing this and I have never had a problem. Actually, since I've watched Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, and The Twilight Zone, the problem might be finding something worthy to watch.

I know it's been posted already but doesn't work as an existing member...

Also, this app is so effing buggy we absolutely hate it....everytime we load up a show it gives us a playback error and we have to restart the app....then it will usually work. Another issue is sometimes we get stuck when commercials start playing and it locks up the app....then we do the same thing, have to restart the app.

We did a free trial and started paying for the commercial version monthly...about to cancel using this link because the app has just been so horrible and not worth it.

Just my experience and felt like sharing in case anybody was on the fence....I'd wait for them to fix all the bugs first and even then I'm not sure it's worth it

I haven't tried this yet, but I will say that I found them very helpful - in response to the comments about CBS customer service. The last time I signed up for a 1 month trial and forgot to cancel before the bill date, they refunded the amount right away without hesitation.

Subbed when it was still CBS all access, because I heard there was a new Star Trek. Unsubbed after watching Discovery and Picard, because evidently attaching the words "Star Trek" to "Generic Star Wars knockoff" is a thing now.

Same here with Spectrum, mostly... the only show that I had trouble streaming was ST Discovery Season 1. It kept pausing every couple of minutes. Very annoying and distracting.
