If this is the same tv as the post that looks pretty good to me. I'm not a tv connaseur and this price is low, looks like it would be good for YouTube or playing catan universe with friends. Why the hate in this thread do u think

"Let me jump in my time machine" so you see no value in knowing the price was lower by several hundred dollars in the past? Generally as items age they become less expensive. Maybe $700 is the best price available today but if I'm considering buying this tv maybe I hold out till a better price comes along.

It doesn't support Dolby Vision, isn't very bright, and doesn't have local dimming. All that said to say it isn't a great TV for showing great 4K content. You can spend $100 or $200 more and get a much better featured TV at a 65" size, like a Vizio M Series or TCL 6 Series when they are on sale.

I have a Vizio m series and at about 18 months it developed the brown spot of death. It's still functioning for now (why I'm on this thread, looking for a new tv) but I can't recommend an m series.

I agree I value knowing the price has been a lot cheaper. That means it's not a good deal which is the whole point of being here.

pay more $$$ for panel lottery from TCL or world of issues from Vizio. even the $50,000 Samsung doesn't do Dolby vision.

in general, all 2020 samsungs other than their QLED's were down grades from there 2019 models. They greatly improved their 2021, however it applies to only the 8 series and above.

I always rank (for LED tvs):
1st. Sony
2. Samsung (8 series and above) /LG (Nano and above).

If you're looking for deals on entry level basic tvs 2020 models I suggest LG over Samsung.

Anything other than the top 3 (Sony, Samsung, LG) you're going to have potential issues in quality and picture because their top priority is to keep the cost down overall, so they are shaving somewhere. They are great tvs, but are always going to fall under ("Best bang for your buck")
