Maybe if you are a farmer or a semi driver (or potentially a diesel full size pickup person) but for the average user with a car / suv not remotely worth the extra 35%.
Anyone notice the warning about storing these in a HOT car?(*)
I get it that lithium batteries and heat are a no-no, but where else do you store it?
I cannot imagine having to port the thing back and forth from home/apt and office/work every time I leave to get into the car in the Summer. It is useless sitting at home when I need it away from home.
*we have one Everstart brand that issued this warning. It feels a little swollen, so I charge it outdoors. Will add this GOOLOO for backup.
**Also, these don't work as well in subzero temps. Granted, the vehicle's discharged SLA battery is probably so cold that it could be partially frozen.

Is the GP2000 worth the extra 15 or so over this one?

Where do you see the hot car warning? I only see the operating temperature.
with Subzero you can warm up this battery before take it out to jump the car. This is portable after all.

That's the problem with these and it blows my mind that so many people buy them. I would a capacitor-based unit instead. Although the cold might lower the capacity (but if so, same as Lithium batteries), at least it's not a fire risk in the heat.

I prefer a clear one for 50% less. They can keep the color.
