PB-12 NSD at $500 is the best deal in subwoofers, IMO. Small chance they have some leftover PB2000's, which were $599 on Black Friday and sold out (at SVS) quickly.

SB1000, if you're into that, might go 399? I don't shop their speakers so I can't advise there.

Absolutely love my PB2000, I put the bass-isolating feet on it (they reduce rattle quite a bit for maybe a 10% reduction in perceived output) and it rocks my open-floor-plan 18x18 family room. It's the sweet spot of return-on-investment for subwoofers, IMO. Don't listen to comparisons to HSU, HSU ships for $100+ and the cost isn't usually comparable in my experience, though they are great subs.

Caught a scratch & dent PB-2000 in the outlet for $550 that looked like it had just s small scuff on the bottom. There are 2 s&d PB-1000 subs also available currently for $350 each but the scratch on one of them looks kind of bad on the corner. I also had 2 new blemish free outlet PB-1000 subs in my cart for the last few days for $400 each that I didn't pull the trigger on (really wanted a PB-2000). I don't see them come up in the outlet but when I go to the link directly (which I had saved), they are still available to add to the cart and checkout. Also 7% cb available from t o p cash back.

I was eyeing on that PB 1000 but prefer sb 2000 . No luck yet. The pb1000 look very bad scratch at the corner.

The standard SB1000 is a pretty weak sub by comparison to other options out there. If space is a concern the RSL Speedwoofer 10s would be a much better performer for the money ($399 shipped and has a similar trial policy to SVS). I have one and it not only hits hard, but it's accurate to boot. If space isn't as much of a concern and you want to stick with SVS the PB1000 is on sale at the outlet for $400 as well and that would be a much better choice than the SB1000 for deep bass and better performance all around.

I generally bypass SVS since I feel there are better options for their regular priced products, BUT the SVS PB1000 at $400 caught my eye and I just couldn't pass up at least trying it out. I picked up an RSL Speedwoofer 10s a few months ago and can't wait to compare them.

It would be hard to argue against the PB2000 Pro for that application. Dual Ported sub with a bit more power/performance than the standard PB2000.
