That said, the KEF 10b compares to the RSL 10E - both are Class D 300 W RMS, 10" drivers. RSL is about an inch larger (about 16" cube) vs KEF being 15". KEF claims 24 to 140Hz (±3dB) while RSL is 26-200 Hz ± 3db. I would say the 10S MKII is a better buy for most people among all these, for say, a regular living room home audio setup.
Besides the subs, Q150s are back to their 'normal' price of 350$ as part of this sale.
And there is one (?) open box Blade one meta at about 29K!
These KEFs are all SEALED subs. If your main use is movies/TV and you have a big room (esp. an open plan space) then PORTED subs (like the RSL) are the way to go, no comparison. To get similar performance as a ported sub in the same price range, you'd have to go with the much bigger and pricier 15, 18, or 21" models costing $1K-4K.
These KEFs are good if music is your priority and you are under severe WAF pressure to have something petite and pretty.

I currently have a 4.0 setup with JBL A180s as my mains. They do a decent job with low-end, but I'm ready for a dedicated sub. This is an entry-level system in my living room; open floor plan, but small-ish 1,500 sq ft home.
Recommendations for under $500? The RSL 10E is attractive at $300, but this is gonna be mostly for movies. Was considering springing for the 10S mk2, unless anyone has a better recommendation.
