It's not a bad deal. I rarely see more than 30% off on LEGO unless it's one of the huge sets. This is a good deal. Price per part is nice. I've been on a Technic bender for the last couple of months and looking around a good bit. I'll pick this one up to build after the Wrangler I got that was 20% off last week. …and I'll start that one after I finish assembling the Land Rover that was 25% off the week earlier. I'm worn out because I had just wrapped the Bugatti build. It was worth it at 26% off. And they're usually 5% - 10% off like the NES and TV LEGO set and the —…. Damn. I have a problem.

This set is probably in it's last 5 months of sales. Do I buy it now or see if it drops to 30% off later on when they all want to get rid of stock? Hmmm.

Any recommendations on finding which Costco is carrying them?

LMAO You're on the wrong site to be a minimalist!

Has anyone had a kid build and enjoy this set?

What does frustration-free packaging of a lego set mean? Does Amazon repackage legos?

Maybe they don't include as much packing filler inside the shipping box or something. The Lego's themselves are in their normal retail box.
