Gotta love DeWalt marketing! Comparing this with a 5ah battery to the brushed version with 2ah battery (hint 5ah/2ah = 2.5x more capacity)
shoe isn't adjustable, which kinda sucks if you like to adjust the shoe and use multiple areas on the blade.
good god does it vibrate like a sonofabitch... easily controllable, but man she shakes.

I own the posted model and love it. It's a beast and the ergonomics are way better than the traditional longer shaped ones. Plus the ability to put the blade facing any direction is helpful in tight spots. Unless you use a recip all day long everyday (and therefore want the 60v DCS389), this is the Dewalt recip saw to own.

totally agree on the blade rotation, i left that out by accident... that comes in handy a lot. it does have gobs of power and it's great for one handed operation, although i do grab my Octane recip more, when space allows, even if i'm doing things onehanded. perhaps it's just a size i'm used to, but the odd oscillation/vibration of the DeWalt bugs me, my old corded super sawzall i would use onehanded a lot and it was perfectly controllable (when you need to hold material with your other hand... really no other option.)
