Wife had me stop by to get curbside pickup, was on SD app while waiting. Wound up going inside and found 5 for $5 each. We own a travel trailer so these were needed.
Wish I can purchase in app for pickup or delivery. I hate these Brickseek deals. 95% of the time the item is not in stock even though BS says there are 6+.
Went to two Walmarts in Federal Way, WA with both 6+ in stock but couldn't find them at all. :/
I wish some of these WM deals would give a general direction of where they found the said item. Do i look for them in the Clearance section, electronics, sporting section, kids toys, automotive, seasonal?
I bought a pack of two of these on Amazon and they're exactly what I needed. Fun for the family while camping, good to communicate decent distances where phone service isn't available. The kids enjoy them.

I looked at the electronics and it wasn't there. Asked an employee and pointed me to their "electronics clearance" and wasn't found. Went to the clearance area and wasn't found. Asked another younger employee and he pretty much chalked it up to if any item is less than 10 its pretty much wiped, missing, or void. Helpful...
OK, what are these good for? In case of emergency I'm guessing where communication is knocked out?
(Asking from a city guy perspective)
If you're thinking 'emergency contact to authorities' then probably not. There does not appear to be any real coordinated plan for authorities to monitor any FRS/GSM channels from what I can see. OTOH, some places (e.g. Disney World, perhaps some state/national parks) do appear to actively monitor various channels for emergency but you'll have to check with staff as you enter the parks and ask which channel they monitor.
You're not going to push the button and say 'breaker 09 for smokey bear' on these and get a response. If you already know that your local authorities monitor one of these channels it could, perhaps, be used for emergency communication, but at the range these radios are useful, even that's unlikely for most folk.
I tried this on a cruise with a few kids ( pre-pandemic of course). Did not work on the ship, I guess radio waves don't travel well when you're inside walls of metal
