After small physical notching to a Porter Cable 20v battery, you can use Porter Cable batteries in all Black and Decker 20v chargers and tools. You can also charge a B&D battery in a Porter Cable charger after notching. However, to use a Black and Decker battery in Porter Cable tools, you need to physically cut the Porter Cable tool. Plenty of videos on YouTube. I've personally notched B&D and PC batteries and it is very easy with a dremel or even a straight razor (with some patience). However, I've stopped short of cutting my PC tools to accept B&D batteries.

This can use a black and decker 20v battery with some minor hacks.

Is this IN STORE ONLY or YMMV? Please put that in the title.....

I bought it at this price last week. After I placed the order, the price jumped back to MSRP before I can post it here.

So buy it first, think later.

Thanks for letting me know in the other post! In for one and cancelled the order for $49.99 a day ago. My Drill and Impact have been solid building this Pool deck.

just a heads up for those thinking about this. while it's a good deal, I found it unusable. it bogged down each time I tried to cut emt with it. no I wasn't adding to much pressure, it just kept bogging down.

I've done it to a PC battery. I remember seeing that B&D and PC batteries both have notches, but on opposite sides. If you cut a notch on both sides, they will work woth either tool brand.

I recommend a dremel though. Even a sharp utility knife too a while and it is hard to not scratch up the battery housing.

BTW, there are B&D and PC batteries on clearance at Lowes too.
