Wow this is not a bad deal considering it comes with 32gb of RAM and the supply shortages going on. OP you should add that to the title since most prebuilt systems being made these days usually tops out at 16gb. But I wonder if this is a one of those new hash limited cards.

All 3060's are hash limited.

Decent deal overall.

Correct. Need a 3060 TI if you want a non hash limited card.

Seems awesome if you're looking for a prebuilt!
3060 going for over 800, so if you are going to get something this would put you almost as far as buying and building for retail, at half the scalped cost of the card.

I just have to decide now if I want to return my assortment of 'almost complete PC part pile' for this.

Thanks op!

I have been wanting to upgrade my GPU in a custom built rig for a while now. Tempted to sell my rig and buy this. What are the downsides of a pre-build like this? I haven't ever considered prebuilt

On the same boat. Can we change the card later to a 3080? I believe we can.

This is air cooled in small 25L case so does it get too hot and loud when gaming?

Typically hard to upgrade and some parts are cheaper than what an enthusiast would buy, like motherboard psu, ram speeds. But youre going to have a very hard time buying a modern GPU to upgrade into your old rig, so people are buying pre-builts left and right just to get a new GPU. This deal will sell out within the day if not sooner.

Considering it's Costco and their customer service, free 2nd year warranty and potentially another 2 extra year warranty with their Costco Citi card, this prebuilt is better than anything you can build for yourself. Even high quality enthusiastic part can go bad and put you at the mercy of the warranty, so Warranty is very important. Building now is just for fun not for budget.

Btw if you buy this, try not to mess with it or change components.... even if you're an enthusiast. HP machine don't do well with people tinkering inside their case. I had my friend RMA his machine because somehow after putting in a new ram, the motherboard behaved funny. Might be static or whatever. Their design and compatibility is very limited. Putting in extra hard drive is fine but otherwise, just use it until the end of the extra warranty and resell and buy another one new. Considering that GPU or Ram or whatever go up every few years when crypto surge, the approach of DIY and then piece meal upgrade may leave you hanging without good performance for a while.

Whoever at Costco decided on this configuration get the compliment from me. The disk space is reasonable since people should have cloud or NAS. The RAM capacity is future proof and the CPU GPU pairing is appropriate.

Just use the 470.05 driver. I have a 30L with the 3060 and getting 42-46 MH/s. https://amp.reddit.com/r/EtherMin...pbox_link/
