I'm just gonna wait on comments of people either fighting and saying good deal or way overpriced.

You pay extra for smaller footprint and a Thinkpad. If you don't want those don't buy them. I'm debating this or $50 more for touchscreen. Anyone have the touchscreen one?

It's overpriced if you can find a 2 pound laptop with better specs and price.

To clarify on screen: 2160x1350 is 16:10 (nice). Gamut is 100% sRGB.

seems like not a horrible deal. various reviews say it is a bit slower than XPS 13 in benchmark tests, but at this discount with R k t n cb it is not that bad. Perks at work also might offer 10x wow points

Yeah, I have a touchscreen Thinkpad and it rarely gets used that way. Maybe it's useful in a pinch when you're trying to shutdown the computer from the Start menu or scroll through lists of countries when filling out forms. I'd say that Apple was right to keep their MacBooks touchscreen-less.

Pretty good deal if you're in the market for this. Lenovo list price of $3k is just stupid...

Touchscreen is nice to have but not a necessity on a laptop. If it was a 2-in-1 then definitely want that touchscreen in tablet mode. Having a touchscreen was annoying when people would try to point out things on screen.
