It seems as though people seem to be 50/50 with Zavvi. I've placed about 10 orders through them (all for LEGO Technic sets) and every one of them has arrived within 3-4 days via DHL, which is crazy coming from the UK. Never had any issues with cancellations or damaged packages, so YMMV.

Now I know that a lot of people have had numerous issues with Zavvi, but I've been lucky I guess. Ordered the Land Rover Defender last night from Zavvi and it'll probably be on my doorstep by mid-next week.

Unfortunately this looks nothing like Bond's DB5 (or any other DB5) other than the color.

I mean, Zavvi must sell something sometimes. Otherwise what's the point? But the last 4 times I've ordered from them they clearly didn't actually have the merchandise. The orders just sat in 'processing' status until I cancelled after months of waiting. They must not have an inventory system- or just decided not to tell you the item was not in stock and not coming back into stock.

I agree. If your child hasn't build anything in the 10+ range before, a 16+ set will require some adult assistance/supervision. You don't want to get too far ahead and find out later that something was installed incorrectly or not installed at all

I've made multiple orders on Zavvi between 2019 and now. Never had an issue. I think my order that took the longest to arrive took about a week.
