Good price for now. But If you don't need it now, I'd wait a bit. With gyms opening up, prices are coming down. Pre-covid you could get this for half the price.

Weights are pretty good, smooth finish, and holding up well.

The bar is absolute junk - sold it locally within the 1st 2 days and picked up a real bar for a good deal at my local Play it Again.

Bar is rated for 300 pounds, cannot be dropped (warning label on the bar), and will most likely sag in short order.

Bends pretty bad with 405 on it. Decent home gym set up though.

Yep was $180 multiple Black Fridays in a row at Dicks if I remember correctly. Great set, I have been using it daily for the last 3-4 years with no issues. The plates don't chip paint at all.

I too have this set and while the weights aren't perfect, mainly the rough finish, they functionally work great. I bought mine two years back for $179. I've used the bar up until a month ago for mainly powerlifting activities but have since upgraded.

Snagged one about a year ago during the pandemic for $250 when there wasn't anything out there. Totally happy with it. Bar is great unless you're the guy who impresses people on an online deal site with how impressive you are.
