I sat in all the Office depot chairs at 3 different locations about a month ago, if I remember right this was one of the comfiest plop down chairs they had. It had some ok back support and felt decent for the price. I would highly recommend going to test it out in store, just keep in mine showroom models typically have more wear and tear and cushions are broken in

Staples lazyboy bradley is worth extra cost. Work from home 11 hours some days, butt never hurts.

If you are patient it can be had for $180 after coupon.

I have this exact chair and several hours straight sitting in it, no issues. I'm shorter than average but on the heavy side, this is built well.

Bonded leather = peeling and throwing the chair away in the next couple years. Or putting a towel over it or some kind of a cover

It's a $100 throwaway chair dude. What are you expecting? Corinthian leather?
For the record, I buy chairs like this every 2 or 3 years, and I've never had one start peeling or had to cover it up. Usually the pin in the base of the seat wears and makes the chair feel a little wobbly, before arms start falling off or the pleather starts peeling.

Its all bonded leather unless you go to a super high end store. Its either spend $1500-$3000+ for maybe a lifetime chair or $110-$250 every 5 years. But considering pets and kids, that high end chair might not be the best option most people.

Yes those high end chairs are amazing, ive looked. But in the end for me, with cats, i chose the comfortable inexpensive (throw away) vs the amazingly comfortable but insanely expensive chairs.

Well, I think he's recommending either going with fabric/mesh or spending more money for real leather. If you sit on bonded every day it's not gonna last very long.

Those are both better long term value.

The Faux leather peels of within year or so and then you need to look around for warranty support for Realspace. This is OD brand, however OD support team does not know how to do warranty claims on these chairs. Buy with caution, these are not durable with 6-8 hrs daily use.

Yup. Not sure why they keep making chairs in bonded leather if they know they don't last long.

Never had a bonded leather chair peel. EVER. Had 4 Serta Executive chairs, sat in for 12+ hours a day. Every one had the ball pin come loose and wobble, ZERO peeling. Extended warranty covered the initial chair, 3 replacements were free. (Did pay the $40 warranty each time, however.)

Point is, bonded leather peel is overstated. It's a hundred dollar chair. It's going to either break or have the seat cushion flatten before it peels.
