I've tried to buy a lot of stuff from them (and secondipity, which is their website) over the past few months and most of the orders had serious issues. batteries missing or defective, essential accessories missing, items damaged to the point they couldn't be used, and one time they even sent the wrong item entirely. to their credit they have a great return policy and I've not had any issues getting prompt refunds. I've had a few orders turn out well, and when they do the prices are great, but don't go into this expecting everything to go smoothly.

Not at all discounting your experience, but want to say I've ordered three items from them recently and have had really good luck. As expected, each item has been a return/open box, but the actual tools themselves were flawless and clearly unused.

Their stuff is priced too high for pre-owned (used)! I am thinking they are priced high intentionally and always have them on 20-30% or higher making it seem you are getting a deal?

I also had a bad experience the only time I bought from them. I purchased the latest, m12 FUEL brushless milwaukee oscillating tool, when the box arrived, I found that it had been opened, and the tool has been replaced with the older, non brushless, non FUEL version, and then re-sealled. Never buying from them again, that was straight fraud

I have ordered 4 string trimer kits from them listed as including the battery, and all 4 have no battery in the box. All of them have the right box (with pictures showing the tool, battery, and charger), but some have writings or stickers on them saying tool only, and they shipped them anyway. I think it's a big enough sample to say your chances of getting a full string trimmer kit with the battery from them is pretty low.

I'm a ryobi user and love the tools. Some I buy new on sale and some refurbs (but not from secondipity before). In all, I love my Ryobi battery tools! I recently bought the battery power washer and it is perfect for small jobs when u dont want to drag out some electric/gas power washer.

I have had several orders that were ok, but also several orders with missing pieces i.e. jobsite table saw but missing wheels
