I comment in threads on products I've previously bought to help other people out.
Could be. But given the prior so called deals on NANFU, i tend to have a healthy skepticism. After all it is possible they are using SD as a cheap form of marketing for their low quality batteries.

You will notice tons of "i bought one" kind of postings on NANFU especially. Much more than coincidence.

edit:

thanks to McGonzo, he figured out the guy who's post we are talking about here created their profile 3 hrs ago. Definitely looks like a shill to me.

interesting how a 3 hr profile has 10 rep pts right away... 🤔

Sounds like a shill.

Bought within 9 hrs after OP post and already delivered "nicely packaged" and "used so far with..."

Seems like a lot of shilling accounts trying to say "bought one".

Again be careful of these marketing tactics.

Wonder why Mods don't catch this more often. They could cross reference the frequency of these shills with similar prior Nanfu postings to get rid of fake marketing accounts. Would be good for the SD community.
Guy joined three hours ago, makes me pretty skeptical as well.

Good point!

Sadly, these shilling profiles just proliferate and takes the value away from true reviews.... hope SD can figure out a solution to this.

remove the ability to post until 3 months would help cut down on some shills.

Agree.

Also I think we as members have to speak up whenever these shills come around.

Nanfu are crappy batteries to begin wirh, but they really tarnished their name with these shady marketing tactics.

They don't care, why would they? they make more money as more people buy.

Sadly true.

Thats why at minimum, as a community, we have to point out these crappy product shills.

Fun fact, everyone starts with 10 Rep points, but I get what you're saying.

I purchased the 48 count of batteries on 12-02-2020 and they were NEVER delivered. I've attempted communicating with seller. Absolutely no reply. Amazon can't refund me either since it's an outside seller from China. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

NOT TRUE! Amazon has A-Z satisfaction guarantee that will refund you if you don't receive product from their 3rd party seller.

additionally, this deal is FBA so its no issue as far as delivery / return.

Energizer and its subsidiaries like rayovac have some batteries manufactured in the United states.

I bought a box of nanfu batteries last time but I haven't used up my older energizers yet (which were amazing btw, lasting almost 1.5 years on a front door lock). I will report back after some testing.

I will say that amazon basics are by far the worst I've used.
I have 9V last less than a couple of months on a garage door keypad with very little use because covid, and even some dead out of the box.

tried their AAA and those were also subpar.
