The patch kit had those small squares that may have been self adhesive-no more than tape. They were also trash and fell off on the lake and we began listing to the side the hole was on and taking on water. I considered getting some HH glue and a vinyl repair kit, but figured at that price I'd buy another. Then all the COVID crap happened and ruined that idea.
I still recommend the kayak at under 100.
They're great! Really, they are. I've actually flown with mine on Southwest (God bless their baggage policy). They can take some rock rubbing and even my dogs nails! I've found myself bringing this instead of my regular kayak to camping trips, just because it's so much easier to load into my truck.
I do recommend that if you're doing any substantial trip, are a larger person or have any cargo, to get one per person. They're luxurious with one person, a dog and cooler and pretty tight (but still enjoyable), with two people. Also, they're terrible at tracking straight. It's a glorified raft and does the job pretty well but is not a sport machine.
This price is pretty decent, but I've literally seen them go for $45 shipped from Academy Sports. That was a crazy clearance and I've historically considered under $80 a good price. However, that was all in a world before everyone has become a wanna-be outdoorsman.
I would consider this a great post-pandemic price! Product and price recommended by me!
