I am embarrassed to tell how I lost mine. I put it on the hood of my car and totally forgot about it when I drove off.

How is this on the wrist? Seems like quite a large watch at 46mm?

Mine is 20 years old and it ticks every 2 seconds instead of 1.

That indicates low battery or the battery may not hold enough power any more.

The good thing is more than likely that's a mistake you'll only make once.

I've done that with $300 sunglasses, it happens. Now I don't buy any sunglasses over $99.

That means the battery is low, did you read the manual?

I'm looking at the black & red version of this and was wondering if anyone can answer a question I have. The black and red version has a drop down for the Band Size. What size would I select? This blue & orange version doesn't have the drop down.

Curious if you lost your because the spring failed. I lost mine that way, and really soured me on Citizen. Could have just been a fluke, but I've never had a spring fail on any decent quality watch before, especially not one only a few months old.
Spring?

Should have been more precise, spring bar [youtube.com]. It's what holds the strap on. If it fails, the watch falls off.

It's your wrist size. They will take links out for you if you know your size. Click the link "sizing guide" to see a template. If not, any Jeweler can do it for $10-$15.
