I have two of these, not bad but started rusting immediately after getting wet the first time. Keep them covered and out of the rain.

I bought a larger zero gravity from Gander Mountain (before the takeover) more than a decade ago, always kept outdoors, and is still in great shape. Black Friday purchase for $50 before I'd even started using SD. Wish I could get another of similar quality. All these zero gravity chairs I see recently are of terrible quality.

These are great chairs. I've had 2 of them for over 3 years now and they're still in great shape. Don't leave them in the rain if you can help it, but a rain here and there doesn't hurt them. Mine are just this year starting to show a little bit of rust.

There are high quality versions of these chairs that
do last,
don't rust,
Are comfortable.

Buy you'll need to pay about $90 for one. I'm sitting in one now.

I bought two for $80 at full price, so...that original price is a big fat lie. That being said, I've found them to be surprising comfortable.




ETA on second look, mine may be a different brand.

Many brands make these out of many different alloys and coatings. I have cheap Amazon ones on a deck with lots of rain, and nothing has rusted or broken.

Thats just what this style of chair called. All brands call it that. It just means your center of gravity is over the hinge so its particularly effortless the lay all the way back with your feet up. We cant blame the brands at this point for using the genericized name for these.
