$30 off. Amazon has same price but won't be in stock until June 19th.

https://www.amazon.com/Nikon-8x42...aff&sr=8-3

Audubon society rated #1 for get out there category. Basically under $150. Pretty good price I think for Nikons. Waterproof and Fogproof Roof Prisms.

I hope more people will share binocular deals because it's a fun category.

Yes if all you care to spend is $100, then you could do worse than these. They go on sale for this price probably a couple of times a year, and it's a good deal.

I usually advise people to spend more if they can. If you've never used really good binoculars, it's hard to describe the difference, but it's about much more than magnification. It's how big the field of view is, how quickly they focus, how bright things appear, how sharp things appear through the entire field of view, how easy it is to track something that's moving, how easy they are on the eyes, how easily they fog up, and of course the quality of the build. Binoculars at this price range are pretty much all plastic.

There were Slick Deals a few months back for Vortex and Leupold models at $150 that I would have recommended over these, and if you're willing to spend $250+, then you can get something you'll use forever.
