Only 90 days warranty. Which means no one year stuck/dead pixel policy they offer for new ones plus returns from customers after who knows what type of handling.

Not sure it is worth the risk.

I have the Zero-G 35", love it, awesome for gaming, great for something where you need a lot of screen real estate. Love the curve. I do kind of miss my dual monitors, as related to my work I need multiple Word/PDFs/websites open and having 2 smaller monitors was more seamless in this regard.

Just get it. Initially, I saw it on sale, after I did my research, the sale was done and I had to wait for 2 months for the next sale. I got a second one for another computer, a MP monitor via target where they have the same prices as MP, got the redcard 5% and some amount of rebate. Doubt they have open box though.

GLTA!

If you're not a gamer, those specs shouldn't make any difference to you. Outside of gaming at 144hz and some better color due to quantum dot tech, I would say it's not worth the upgrade.

Are these open box, returned because of dead pixels?
That's exactly what I'm wondering. The optimist in me wants to order and hopefully I'll get a good one. The logical side of me knows that there's probably a reason 90% of these were returned, and therefore there might be a slim chance of getting a good one. Decisions decisions...

I have opposite experience. Had the LG 27UN850, most of the time couldn't wake up from sleep, had to turn monitor off and back on the wake up. Sometimes it went dark for a few seconds. Returned it and got the Dell P2715Q, works great since day one and no issue at all.
Interesting. Which Mac was it and what were you using to connect? Any dongles or adapters in the middle?

The issue I mentioned is I think specific to use of USB-C from a M1 Mac (the latest implementation of their USB-C being incompatible with older versions of USB-C on the Dell but not the the LG)

It is possible that there is a different issue with a different combination of Mac, port and type of connection.

In any case, the lesson wi

So I went for the 27" Zero-G and I didn't realize it was one per customer, I really wanted two so I quickly ordered another using same info/payment and it says an order was created but I didn't receive email confirmation, does that mean they put a stop on it?? I will request to refund the one; if I can't have two.. I bought the 34" Dark Matter new for $350 last black friday time and I'll be super bummed if I can't have a triple setup on the cheap...
edit- nevermind, it looks like I just had to have a different payment card/option and I did receive a confirmation email right away so I really hope I didn't just order 4 of them I only wanted 2, whoops..
edit again- damnit man, they did put a hold of 4 @ $163.26 ea. I didn't receive an email for 2 nor do 2 of them show up in order history so & i'm pretty sure nothing gets resolved until monday efff Frown because guys- (on the downvotes) I was sure they were retroactively cancelling my other orders, anyway..

I purchased and then cancelled it. Do not want to be dealing with the nightmare return process.

Depends on what you're going to be using the monitor for. The Acer is only 1080p vs the 1440p of some of the monoprice monitors and if you're looking for gaming then the LG looks like it only has a 60hz panel vs the 120 to 144hz refresh of the monoprice panels.
