I'd be so in this if it was 32". High refresh rate IPS are so expensive.

Do this or the 32" samsung faker edition?
Its personal preference but I feel like with a 32" monitor its too big, at least for my desk... in terms of how how much farther away you'd have to sit from it.

Age old question by now... this IPS 240hz or keep my current TN 155hz. I'm on the fence if I should take the plunge. I play shooters and my PC can easily exceed 240fps in those games. Plus I have the $120 Amex offer.. gahh
Plunge.

i mean if you play shooters wouldnt you prefer a smaller monitor anyway? most people playing shooters including myself find anything above 24/25 too big, but if thats how you play go for it man

Beyond 120hz, such as 144hz is barely noticeable. 240hz is overkill.

This monitor is the same price as a 144 Hz 1440p Acer predator from 3-4 years ago.

Not to mention, you probably don't even want your GPU to run a marathon to display all of those frames you wont notice.

Ripoff.

Save your cash for an ultrawide or a cheaper 1440p display

The 240hz refresh rate really isn't its best selling point, at least for me. At this price its one of the best HDR monitor's (particularly for IPS panels), its got one of the best warranties you can get, great response times, its also got a native g sync module with variable overdrive.
The 240hz if anything is just future proofing.

looks like a good deal

reasons this is so expensive:
hardware g-sync (compare with other cheaper monitors that are g-sync compatible)
HDR
240Hz
3-year warranty

it doesn't have HDMI 2.1. All the new next Gen consoles use HDMI 2.1... i would wait for an updated version.
I'd imagine not many people are looking to use this with consoles. They wouldn't take advantage of the refresh rate.

It's convenient to have. In case people want to re-arrange their hardware after an upgrade or trying to save up space; in the future.
