I'd be so in this if it was 32". High refresh rate IPS are so expensive.

I was getting ready to buy this as it seems like a great price, but in the end I just don't think monitor technology is at a point where it'd be worth upgrading over my existing display (Dell S2716DG QHD 144hz G-Sync).

Once monitors have perfect blacks and real HDR like TV's, I'll be back to drop the cash.

Yep... won't find a monitor like that until MiniLED makes it to monitors. Which hopefully should happen by 2024.

Looking at the hardware unboxed video this monitor seems to have overly high overshoot. Anyone have this can comment?

Well, having a PC capable of hitting 1440p at 240hz isn't cheap either.

True. I'm assuming you can bump the refresh rate down though, right? 120 is fine for me.

There is already a 4k 144hz mini-led monitor out (ASUS ROG SWIFT PG32UQX) but these are going to be way too expensive for at least a few years, might as well just get a small LG OLED at that price level.

Sweet, got this for $600 after tax. 10% off & $120 off Amax deal. Will go great with a RTX 3080!

This monitor is overpriced for the average gamer. For competitive FPS gaming however, this is one of , if not the best monitor out there. If you enjoy RPG or RTS gaming more then there are better, cheaper options out there.

I paid 1200 for this monitor about 6 months after it was released. Worth every penny even at that price.

Beyond 120hz, such as 144hz is barely noticeable. 240hz is overkill.

This monitor is the same price as a 144 Hz 1440p Acer predator from 3-4 years ago.

Not to mention, you probably don't even want your GPU to run a marathon to display all of those frames you wont notice.

Ripoff.

Save your cash for an ultrawide or a cheaper 1440p display
straight up not true lol. yes its less noticeable than the 60->144 jump but its very noticeably smoother and much more responsive

Here's my totals:

$736.72 - $11 (CC CB) - $120 (AMEX DELL OFFER) = $605.72.

Really good deal.

Called AMEX also and they said I'll get the 120$ credit in 5 business days or until next statement.
