The included ratchet is hot garbage. Put more than 50 ftlbs of torque on it and the internals will just shatter. Seems to only be these square handle craftsman's with this issue.

At least there's the lifetime wtty, if you can find place to honor it easily. BTW, the ACE inventory I just bought is marked Made in Taiwan. If I break the ratchet, I'll seek wtty.

I do like the larger font used on the sockets to mark sizes.

This was cited in the Lowe's deal thread four days for same thing. I got mine at ace because it was an easier pickup. Not exactly a repost I reckon but the ace links were included by someone.

Too late for you, but if you strip the teeth out of a US made ratchet, buy a rebuild kit online and just DIY the fix. I think some Sears will even sell you a repair kit for $1 or free.

No, but my neighbor in the next trailer over his name is Gabe. He runs outside in his tighty whities yelling at satellites. Do you think he has 50 piece socket sets for $15. He has a few screws loose so I doubt he has any tools.
