No one knows when next free line promo will come. For data point, they ran 4 free line promos last year (Jun/Jul, Sep, Nov, Dec), two free line promos this year (BOGO and another total free line promo in Mar).

You can ask T-Mobile rep to do change of responsibility to move numbers from an account to another one.

For this deal, do we need to take the phones to Costco along with account info for the current carrier? Are we required to activate/port-in at Costco Store? Or, just sign up at Costco and activate the SIM and port-in at home later on? I've never done any Costco deal yet, so things are not clear to me.

No requirement for port in. You'd better to bring the phone. Some reps check phone, some just ask for IMEI. YMMV

I am still on sprint byod, they jacked the price of my plan (5 lines x $100) now is $140 plus taxes and fees

What would be the best route?

1 Get in this promotion with the same numbers
2 get 5 new numbers and get this promotion
3 stick with what I got until better promotion

So, we need to add new lines for this deal, right? Then, could we port in later on, replacing the phone numbers?
By the way, is this deal for new account, as well as for existing account? That is, I had an account with T-Mobile for some time and cancelled it towards the end of last year.
