You can get third party spools via Amazon for much much less than the 6-pack for $8.99 from Worx.
Also you can order a spool of hex line and wind up old empty spools yourself and really save some $. I got a 300 foot line for about $15. I've done both of these options in the years I've had a worx trimmer.
This is a only a semi decent deal if you don't mind the older batteries and don't want the new 4.0mah batteries. Also if you only need a trimmer and don't care about any other tools. For only a trimmer you won't need two batteries unless you have an acre or more.
For context I got the combo (trimmer/blower) w/ two 4.0mah batteries in June of 2020 directly from Worx for $184 after a discount down from the list price of $229.
If you wanted to add a tool only blower to this deal you'd be in for at least another $100 which would put you right up there in price for a 4.0 combo directly from Worx.
I mean this to help and not just crap on the deal. Just make sure you know what you're getting and be OK with it.
Np. If you are ever interested in spooling your own just know the line thickness is .065 and it needs to be hex and not regular round or it will wear down quicker and not trim as good.
I got mine on eBay but Amazon will probably have something similar as well.
Is this half decent? Price is great! I have a still gas trimmer and it's great and very powerful. But it is also kind of annoying...the shoulder strap helps. I know this doesn't have the same powere but maybe I'd use it more often. The still is a bit of an ordeal to use.
I had this unit for about a year and I love it. It's not that strong but does the job for residential use. The attached wheel is very helpful with edging and battery life is great. The spools are free for the life of the unit, you just pay for shipping $8.99. I didn't even used one whole spool yet for a whole season.

I have this one and the 40v one that uses two batteries. This one is okay for a small yard but I love the 40v one. I prefer it to my greenworks pro 60v string trimmer.
