I never understood these paper coupons to use on the next purchase. They have a well built rewards points system, which has been rolled out for years and is being used. Wouldn't it make sense to have it sent to the rewards card/membership so that there aren't problems with the customer not receiving the paper coupon or it being lost?
The points system is generally rewards they pay out.

Register rewards are funded by the manufacturer. That's why it will say manufacturer coupon at the top of the RR. Has nothing to do with Walgreens or rolling it into the rewards program because it is completely separate because of the funding source.

You also will pay tax on this $4 in RR if you live in a state that taxes manufacturer coupon amounts, for example.

Great insight.

I'd say technologically it should still be possible to add Register Rewards (even optionally) to the rewards account in a separate tier of incentives. Then again we are expecting next gen thinking from a company known for its antiquated systems.

Yes, I purchased 2 toothpastes online and paid with $3 (max it would allow me to redeem, I had $7) Walgreens Rewards. I picked my order up and $4 Register Rewards printed.

It is displayed in the weekly ad. If you do buy online, pickup in store, it will print your register rewards with the receipt.
Page 2 of the ad shows a 'buy 2 get $4 off your next purchase' - should I expect the $4 catalina if I get 2 of the $4 oral-b toothbrushes? They're listed if I click the 'shop now' for that ad?

If that works, it's $1 net for 2 toothbrushes - $8-$3q-$4 cat oyno.
Is that right?

If the ad says it should, then by law they have to honor that. Did you try to have them manually push it thru?
