Last time I took KLM, before Covid, they had great meals and the staff was very attentive. They bring you seconds if you ask. That said, I needed to change the date of return travel due to a death in the family and they were very stubborn. They wanted that $300 change fee, no matter what - even after providing a death certificate.

I was about to book until I saw that the US is an amber country based on their covid protocol and requires 10 days self isolation.

Always an Expedia link. It's almost comical at this point.

You're aware that SD is just one giant interactive ad, right? It isn't comical really, it's their business model and I thought everyone was aware. Once you accept that, it's not really a big deal.

Thanks. Does this also apply to those with a vaccination card? What website can I go to to find out about travel restrictions?

Found this for anyone looking:
https://www.gov.scot/publications...countries/

Yes, must self isolate regardless of vaccination. It's annoying.

I TD every post where it's the only link. Expedia is a terrible company and a really bad choice in purchasing airfares.
